New spot near my house. So clean and a menu that is easy to navigate. They offer free delicious bonchon refills at your request. The staff is so friendly. The prices are reasonable. Our meat choices were cooked by the helpful and friendly wait person because we didn't know how. More than enough parking. Will come back with the rest of the family.

The new new Korean BBQ spot and it is friendly for everyone. Staff is on-hand and call buttons are marked and pointed out when your party is seated. Banchan setup offers many tasty sides. Y'all got kids? There's something they should be able to munch on as meats are being grilled at your table. Cook on your own or staff will stop by and check on you routinely. If you're not sure or need another bottle of Soju, hit that call button. Nowadays the K-bbq norm is AYCE (all-you-can-eat) but that isn't offered here. Orders are placed by the 1/2 lb which can carry a high spend unless you order off their specials menu which yields larger quantities due to the special marinades used. Either way you order, a tasty meal will be enjoyed. Ran into a fellow Chicagoan Kbbq foodie the other day, she asked "first time?" first? Shiiii. ( _ )

I like this place! Went with a group of 8 and they were able to accommodate us. I think this place would be a good place for groups. The meat was a little on the pricey side, but the quality was a bit better. I liked the banchan and that they give you lettuce (a lot of places don't). KBBQ service can also be a hit or miss, but the service was excellent here! The staff were all so nice and the owner walks around to chat and ask if everything is ok. A great place to come if you're new to KBBQ.

This place was adorable! Great service. We weren't very good working the flame to cook our meat and a kind man did It for us. Everything was yummy and filling. Overall a great experience. Would def come back.

Came here with my partner and two friends on a Sunday a little after 5pm. When we arrived, we were quickly seated. Throughout the course of our meal, the place got completely packed which is a good sign. Our server was sweet and on it the entire time we dined there. She constantly brought us things we needed, etc. The banchan was good, however it was missing a few items such as cucumbers which I'm typically used to receiving. We ordered 4 different meat orders as well as a soup and everything was stellar. Overall, I'd rate this a 4.5/5 for Chicago KBBQ standards. The price point also is decent. We were all expecting a higher bill but it wasn't awful. Would definitely return!

Visited for the first time on a Friday evening with a group of 8 and got seated right away at around 9 PM. We were immediately served banchan and ice water to the table. We decided to try a little bit of everything for the first round and got a mixture of beef and pork. We also ordered seafood pancake and steamed egg which were all very tasty. The service was superb and we didn't have to cook the meat ourselves, the servers would come around to cook and serve it to us. However, the cost is on the pricier side for the amount of meat that we received, we ended up ordering a second round since a few of my friends were still hungry after ordering the initial 6 plates of BBQ.

Service is great! I love the fact that the small dishes start flowing before we even order! Personally I think the pork jowl tasted better than the kalbi (we had both marinated and unmarinated )...and their pork jowl is a cut above other kbbq place The side dishes are yummy and fresh. We also really enjoyed their fried dumplings! It tasted freshly made! If I only had their kalbi, it would be more of a 3 stars...it's better than a lot of mediocre kbbq place but for $40/ 8oz ...I think I would go to a steakhouse for a slab of ribeye :p The whole wet aged process thing and the special in house grind seasoning are more gimmicky...I don't taste how the wet aged make their kalbi better than other good Korean bbq place.

Post- renovation review. I haven't been to this restaurant pre-renovation but it looks like they made major improvements. Lots of wide tables and seating. Effective ventilation system. Food was top notch. From banchan to jjigae to pork cuts. We got pork belly, special cut, jowl, and shoulder and they were very flavorful, tender, and juicy. I like that sides like onion, garlic, rice, jalapeno , and jjigae are included with the meats. Steamed egg met my standard. Menu is very pricey. Meats are sold by the half pound. One seafood pancake is $20 yikes. This is a special occasion spot. No issues with service.
